MSS in Anthropology from Jahangirnagar University and Master of Development Studies (MDS) with Major on ‘Environment and Development’ from Dhaka University. Apart from academic degree, completed a 1 year long Diploma on Computer Information System (CIS).

Has been working for over 15 years in Different NGOs, Consulting Firm and Private University. Currently he has been working as Senior Manager of "Community Empowerment Programme (CEP)" of BRAC. He has expertise in Advocacy, Campaign, Program Planning, Budgeting & Management, Effective Communication, Documentation, Monitoring & Evaluation, Training, Event Management, Qualitative Research, Environment and Development; Information Technology.

Has over 5 years experience of working on advocacy. Worked as a Project Coordinator of "Promoting Corporate Social Responsibility on Occupational Health Rights" project, implemented by Population Services and Training Center (PSTC) and funded by ActionAid Bangladesh. Developed three video documentaries and a number of booklets and other BCC materials as part of occupational health advocacy. Also arranged a number of National level Seminars/Discussion Meetings with the policy makers and other influential stakeholders including Country Director of ActionAid Bangladesh.

Worked as Program Coordinator of "Building and strengthening the technical and institutional capacities of government, NGOs and implementing partners (GFATM Package # 913)", a project implemented by PIACT Bangladesh where he had to work closely with all the high government officials in Ministry and district level, advocating for capacity building of Government and other Non Governmental Institutions regarding Coordination of HIV and AIDS related activities.

Also took part in live TV Talk Shows in Channel i and Bangla Vision (two leading non government TV channels of Bangladesh) as part of media advocacy.

Has experience of providing training to different NGOs (including BRAC and CARITAS) while working for a consulting firm called, Murphy McCann Consulting Group.
